1. Who we are

Smart Base Core ("we", "us", "our") operates the Smart Base Core trading platform available at our website and related applications. For privacy questions, contact us at support@smartbasecore.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and profile preferences you provide.
• Google Sign-In (when enabled): if you choose Google OAuth, we receive your Google account email, name, and profile image as provided by Google. We do not receive your Google password.
• Trading & wallet activity: trades, deposits, withdrawals, balances, and referral relationships needed to operate the platform.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/user agent, device type, and approximate location derived from IP for security and fraud prevention.
• Communications: emails you send us and transactional emails we send (confirmation, password reset, account notices).

3. How we use data

• Create and authenticate your account (including email confirmation and password reset).
• Provide trading, wallet, referral, and support features.
• Process payments via third-party payment providers.
• Detect abuse, secure accounts, and meet legal obligations.
• Send service emails related to your account (not marketing unless you opt in separately).

4. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies and browser storage (e.g. localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not currently load third-party advertising or analytics pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

5. Processors & sharing

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the product, including:

• Supabase (authentication and database hosting)
• Payment processors (e.g. deposit/withdrawal gateways)
• Email/SMTP providers for transactional mail
• Google (only if you use Google Sign-In)

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support; some records may be retained where law requires.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@smartbasecore.com to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and hashed passwords via our auth provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children

The service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
